Australian made
Made here, made to the opening
Accordion Doors Australia is a 100% Australian owned business manufacturing and installing movable partitions, accordion doors and folding doors. Nothing is sold as a stock size, because openings are not a stock size.

Who we supply
Most of the volume is contract work
We supply individuals, home builders, property renovators, commercial businesses and architects. The one-off residential opening and the multi-opening contract run through the same workshop, but they are not the same conversation.
Made to order
Why nothing is cut down from a stock size
It is the single thing that decides whether a partition performs the way the drawing said it would.
An operable wall does its work at the edges. The seal at the head, the seal at the floor, and the meeting stiles between panels are where sound gets through when they are not right.
A panel trimmed on site to fit an opening it was not made for loses exactly that geometry. The wall ends up rated on paper and leaky in the room.
Buildings are also rarely square. A head that runs out by fifteen millimetres across a nine metre opening is normal, not a defect.
A made-to-measure run absorbs it through panel widths rather than through a packer and a gap you can see daylight through.
So the sequence is measure, then make. On a new build where the opening does not exist yet, we quote from your drawings and re-measure before anything is manufactured.
That second measure is not padding. It is the step that stops a wall arriving to an opening that moved during construction.
How a contract runs
Six stages, and you can see all of them
The same sequence whether it is one opening in a house or a schedule of them across a build.
For trade
What a builder gets that an end client does not need
- A measured, itemised scope rather than a lump sum you cannot interrogate
- Head and jamb details early enough to frame to them
- Delivery sequenced against your programme, not ours
- One contact from quote through to handover and servicing
- The same people back on site if something needs adjusting later
A real person reads every enquiry, not an auto-responder. If it is urgent, calling 03 9331 7376 is always faster than waiting on a reply.
Questions
What trade buyers ask first
Got a schedule of openings?
Send the elevations or the opening schedule. You get the scope itemised, with panels, track, seals, hardware and installation priced separately so it can be compared properly.
